Carol L. Babb, P.E.

Carol Babb applies over  40 years of project management, engineering, manufacturing, and executive experience supporting clients investing in renewable energy projects, advanced biofuels and high-value products, SAF, biodiesel including algae-based fuels, RNG, and other potential drop-in fuels that will lead our nation to energy independence.  As a vice president, she managed a staff of specialists who advised on developing, financing, construction, commissioning, and start-up of the full spectrum of renewable energy and first-of-a-kind technologies. Under Ms. Babb’s management, her team has provided Owner’s Engineering and Independent Engineering oversight on over 10 GW’s of solar and hydropower projects worldwide representing several billions of dollars in capital investment.

In addition to her Renewable Energy expertise, Ms. Babb has an extensive design background in oil and gas including the design of 9 FCCU’s and gas plants, gas treatment and gas recovery, biopharmaceuticals, and pulp and paper capital projects.  She also has a background in rubber/plastics manufacturing.  She has also worked in a manufacturing role with Gates and Amgen and oversaw numerous manufacturing modifications to pulp and paper machines for Boise Cascade, Georgia Pacific, and Scott.
