Celeste Bremen

Celeste Bremen joined New Energy Risk as Senior Actuary in 2023. She has experience in actuarial science and predictive modeling projects for clients across the globe and enjoys helping clients find the right solutions to their insurance and risk management problems.

Celeste started her career with Zurich Insurance in the US. She worked in actuarial reporting and reserving before transferring to Zurich’s São Paulo, Brazil, office where she worked on generalized linear models used in pricing for two years.

After returning to the US, Celeste joined Zurich’s data and analytics department and most recently worked for Octo Telematics as Connected Analytics Leader. There, she worked with clients based in different countries and led the team of data scientists responsible for creating various predictive models.

Celeste graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics and concentrations in Actuarial Science and Management (specializing in Entrepreneurship and Innovation). She enjoys volunteering for the Casualty Actuarial Society as part of the Candidate Advocate Working Group and as the representative to Brazil for the Latin America Working Group. Outside of work, Celeste likes to play board games, try new food, and spend time with her family.
