Underwriting a Greener Future®

Brightmark Energy

Brightmark Energy Plastics Division had been looking for funding for their initial large-scale project: a plastics renewal plant in Ashley, IN, USA. This plant will be capable of converting mixed plastic waste into practical, usable products. The technology’s byproducts can even be used to manufacture additional plastics, making it an exceptional sustainable solution that promotes the circular economy. However, three obstacles prevented the waste solutions provider from obtaining project funding, which led the team to approach New Energy Risk (NER) for assistance.

Challenge #1: Identifying the optimal project structure

Challenge #2: Obtaining investor confidence

Challenge #3: Adapting to pre-financing changes
