Dvorit Mausner, Director of Execution

Dvorit Mausner joined New Energy Risk in 2019 as Director of Execution. She touches all areas and functions of the company through the management and support of NER’s key relationships and operations, especially through its next critical period of growth.

Prior to joining NER, Dvorit was no stranger to scaling organizations. This is her sixth time setting benchmarks for a new position that accelerates outcomes through relationship building, communications, and operations. In those other roles, Dvorit set numerous records as an international fundraising program director, produced campaigns for the Gates Foundation and winning strategy-consulting bids for USAID, revitalized a 6,000 sft science-driven member-oriented makerspace, and established the largest virtual community for carbon-removal professionals, which transitioned into designing a pre-seed startup accelerator to support innovators converting waste-to-value, which she co-directed with NER’s Matt Lucas. Dvorit is also co-founder and partner of Temescal Brewing, Oakland’s freshest brewery and beer garden.

Dvorit studied at the University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a business certification from the Wharton School, a Masters in philanthropy, and a Bachelors in behavioral neuroscience. Dvorit has been interviewed for numerous publications, including GreenBiz 350 Podcast and the book Cause for Change.

In her free time, Dvorit cares deeply about social justice while enjoying a DIY lifestyle. She rides a decade-loved Brompton, is learning how to raise chickens, and gets inspired through creative urban exploration.
